CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Dillard's store at Carolina Place Mall was shut down Thursday morning after a body was found in a dressing room.
A cleaning crew found the body around 9:30 a.m. and called police. Police identified the woman as Anna H. Conley, 57, of Charlotte.
Pineville police said the death appears to be from natural causes, though police said they are waiting for the medical examiner to come back with an official result.
Police said there were no signs of foul play.
A sign on the door at the mall entrance let customers know that Dillard's was closed.
Police have not said how long the woman was in the fitting room. They said she may have been there overnight, but are not certain.
