CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police were investigating after a woman was shot overnight at an east Charlotte bar.
Officers told Channel 9 that the woman was shot in the leg around 2:15 a.m. at Big Al's Pub on Albemarle Road near Harrisburg Road.
Investigators have not said what led to the shooting or if any arrests have been made.
Paramedics took the woman to the hospital but she is expected to be OK.
