CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police said a woman was rushed to a hospital after being shot at a student housing complex late Friday night.
Officers arrived at the Edge Apartments on Varsity Lane in University City around 11:30 p.m.

According to police, the woman was shot during an argument with a man at the complex and was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said they have a suspect in custody and are not looking for anyone else.
No names have been released.
