CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies have arrested and charged a man in a double shooting in Catawba County late Friday night.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. at a home on Ramseur Road, south of Maiden.

When deputies got to the house, they found a man and a woman inside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The woman was flown to a Charlotte hospital and the man went to a hospital in Lincoln County. Both are in serious condition.

Deputies charged 29-year-old Dimitris Williams with two counts of attempted murder.
Authorities have not said what led up to the shooting.
