PINEVILLE, N.C. — Police have obtained warrants for a man after authorities found marijuana in a Pineville home while investigating a fire there.
There are two felony warrants for Abdelrahman Kirdasi on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for keeping and selling controlled substance-marijuana.

Firefighters were called to the home around 1:30 a.m. on Marine Drive, near Lancaster Highway, and saw heavy flames and smoke when they arrived.
Officials told Channel 9 that fire crews pulled two dogs from the home but that they had died.
A woman was injured in the fire, suffering second-degree burns, according to fire investigators.
Kirdasi was also inside the house at the time, but was not hurt.
Shortly before 8 a.m., police told Channel 9 that they found about 19 ounces of marijuana in the house. The case has been turned over to the Pineville Vice and Narcotics Division.
"It's scary. I mean, we are to the age now that you know it's everywhere but you hate that it's in your backyard," neighbor Sandra Walker said.
Walker said she has concerns about drugs in her neighborhood but still feels for the people who lost everything.
"No matter what they did, they don't deserve to be hurt. I pray for them to get better," Walker said.
Investigators told Eyewitness News that the fire began in the back of the home, and was accidental, blaming it on cooking.
Neighbors told Channel 9 that they heard a loud pop and then saw flames, but firefighters said there was no explosion.
Police officers said the house had smoke alarms, but they're not sure yet if they were working when the fire started.
Officials said they expect to file charges later Tuesday.
