ROCKINGHAM, N.C. — Police in Rockingham said they found a murder victim behind the wheel of a crashed truck.
Officers said they responded to a crash on Rockingham Road Thursday and found Lee Covington with stab wounds to his chest.
He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said Shanita Love turned herself in a few hours later.
No motive for the killing has been released.
