Woman charged in Hickory shooting, police say

HICKORY, N.C. — A woman has been charged in connection with a shooting in Hickory early Thursday morning, according to the Hickory Police Department.

It happened around 4 a.m. in the parking lot of the Courtyard by Marriott.

Deputies said 35-year-old Jeremy Antwoine Hubbard was found in the parking lot with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. He is in stable condition, according to deputies.

Deputies said 31-year-old Cadisha Laquana Kadia Hill has been arrested in connection with this shooting.

She has been charged with first-degree attempted murder, according to deputies.
