CONOVER, N.C. — A woman was flown to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte after an early Monday morning crash involving a moped in Catawba County.
The collision between a pickup truck and the moped happened just after 6 a.m. on Rock Barn Road, near First Street East in Conover.
Officials told Channel 9 that the woman on the moped suffered serious injuries, but that no charges have yet been filed.
Police have not released any more information about the crash or what caused it.
