CHARLOTTE — Many concerned citizens have contacted Channel 9 about gyms that are open despite the governor’s pause on phase 2 restrictions, which ordered them to close.

Gov. Roy Cooper hit the pause button on going into the next phase Wednesday for the third time. Phase 3 would loosen restrictions on gatherings and allow more businesses, such as gyms, to reopen.
