CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Inc. magazine is out with its annual list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies, including more than four dozen in the Charlotte region.
Combined, the 49 local firms logged $1.5 billion in revenue, 7,440 jobs and median growth of 172% over the past three years.

The Inc. 5000 list, released Tuesday morning, ranks companies by overall revenue growth during a three-year period, which, for the 2021 list, spans 2017 to 2020.
Coming in at No. 1 in the Charlotte region — and 50th nationwide — is Nufabrx (Textile Based Delivery) in Conover. That textiles startup posted a three-year growth rate of 6,684%.
