CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An ambitious project to build a multimodal transit station and mixed-use development in uptown Charlotte continues to move ahead.

The first phase of Gateway Station is 60% complete and on track for completion in 2023, said Cheryl Myers, chief planning and development officer and senior vice president at Charlotte Center City Partners. Myers gave a brief update about the Gateway Station project during CCCP’s board meeting Thursday afternoon.
