CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte ranks among the most dangerous cites for drivers, according to a new analysis.
The Queen City placed at No. 13 out of nearly 200 cities on “The 25 Most Dangerous Cities for Drivers [+Car Theft Rates]” analysis from CarInsuranceCompanies.com.

The analysis looked at the 200 most populous U.S. cities (with 17 removed due to incomplete data) and scored them on: Motor vehicle fatality rate; relative collision likelihood; motor vehicle theft rate; and annual days with precipitation.
