CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Expect a beer-inspired menu and 40 different beers on tap when this South End brewery opens.
Brewers at 4001 Yancey Road is working out final operational kinks, but it expects to open its doors within a week.
“Everything is pretty much good to go,” says Chris DeCamp, general manager.
The brewery has transformed the 28,000-square-foot, historic Bowers Mill Building in Charlotte’s South End. That makes it neighbors with establishments such as Sugar Creek Brewing Co. and The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery.
But expect Brewers at 4001 — a collaboration between Southern Tier Brewing Co. and Victory Brewing Co. that’s operating under the Artisanal Brewing Ventures umbrella — to put its own stamp the Charlotte market.
