What to expect when SouthPark’s first rooftop bar opens at AC Hotel

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — SouthPark’s first rooftop bar will open next week.

Cordial will open on June 19, offering rooftop views, classic cocktails and a menu of European-inspired tapas.

It occupies 5,500 square feet on the eighth floor of the AC Hotel Charlotte SouthPark. The goal was to create a comfortable, neighborhood gathering spot, says Amanda Gibbons, food and beverage director.

The space includes a modern indoor bar as well as outdoor terrace space for hotel guests and the community.

“There’s not really a neighborhood bar in that area. I think a lot of people will come and check it out and find their new spot,” she says.
