CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police arrested a West Mecklenburg High School volunteer accused of having sexual contact with a student, Charlotte-Mecklenburg school officials confirmed on Monday.
District officials said that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Police Department conducted an investigation into Marlina Wallace, a band supporter, regarding allegations that she had inappropriate relations with a student.
Three warrants were issued charging Wallace with sexual activity with a student.
She was arrested Monday and booked into Mecklenburg County Jail.
