CONCORD, N.C. — Banking giant Wells Fargo & Co. has announced a trio of new branch closures in North Carolina, including one in a fast-growing community in the Charlotte region, as customers’ shift to digital options quickens amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
New disclosures to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency show planned closures in Wendell, Wilmington and Concord. The Concord branch is at 948 Concord Parkway.
So far in 2020, Wells Fargo has notified the OCC of 11 branch closures in North Carolina.
