MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Channel 9′s Mark Taylor visited a local haven for veterans in Mooresville that, on the outside, looks like an ordinary coffee shop, but found out is so much more.
Welcome Home Veterans at Richard’s Coffee Shop is not just a place to grab a cup of joe -- it’s also a living military museum that honors American heroes.
The building on North Main Street is the only nonprofit coffee shop in the United States that provides veterans with everything from home repairs and food, to help with navigating the VA and even utility payments.
