CHARLOTTE — It’s opening weekend at Topgolf Entertainment Group’s new University City location.
That 80,000-square-foot venue -- the company’s second in the Queen City -- is located at 9110 Drivers Way. It sits between the Lynx Blue Line and Interstate 85 in University City.

“As a company focused on building roots and growing the game, we are excited to double down and build an even stronger bond with the culturally rich community of Charlotte,” says Artie Starrs, CEO.
Charlotte’s first Topgolf location opened in summer 2017. It is located near Whitehall Corporate Center in southwest Charlotte.
The University City sports-entertainment complex features 102 climate-controlled, high-tech hitting bays. It also has an outdoor patio, rooftop terrace and private event space. Expect the menu to feature signature items such as wings, nachos, a variety of flatbreads and top-shelf drinks.
The venue will offer music and year-round programming for all ages. COVID-19 protocols are still in place, with bays, golf clubs and game screens disinfected after each group and common areas disinfected hourly.
It will employ approximately 500. More job openings are available, and anyone interested in working at Topgolf can visit Topgolf’s career website.
