Rescue crews were checking on another home in the area as well. Water levels were high on area streets and Channel 9 watched as pickup truck drove through very high floodwaters, something authorities stress drivers do not try.

Another water rescue was reported early Friday on Van Wyck Road in Lancaster County, in the town of Van Wyck.

Officials said a man tried to drive down the flooded road when his car became submerged.

The man was able to climb on top of his car and call 911.

He was rescued and EMS said he was OK.
