FORT MILL, S.C. — It’s been more than two months since leaders in York County have known about a water main break spilling into the street at an apartment complex in Fort Mill, and neighbors say they’re frustrated with the lack of action.

Lisa Layton says the water has been pouring out at The Sycamore at Fort Mill since Christmas.

“It’s inconvenient, it’s wasteful, it’s upsetting because nobody seems to care that they’re literally dumping thousands of gallons of water per day and nobody wants to fix it,” Layton told Channel 9′s Tina Terry.

So on Friday, Channel 9 took Layton’s concerns directly to York County to get answers.

In the video at the top of the page, see York County’s response and who’s paying for the water.
