ASHEBORO, N.C. — A wanted man out of Albemarle was captured after a police standoff, officials said.
Jatwane Cole was taken into custody Friday in Asheboro.
Police: Man with 40 charges against him likely cut ankle monitor off
He barricaded himself inside an apartment for four hours before police arrested him.
He is behind 18 home break-ins in Albemarle, police said.
They said he cut his electronic monitor off and he had at least 40 charges prior to Friday's arrest.
