CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Dozens of new computer monitors were donated Thursday to the Urban League of Central Carolinas.
Wal-Mart donated 60 monitors to help the nonprofit with its job-training program. The donations are expected to save the organization thousands of dollars. Instead, that money will go toward training.
“I think it’s really great when you have a large corporation serve as a leader and inspire others to get involved,” said Urban League president Patrick Graham.
The old computer monitors are going to Goodwill.
