HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Transportation leaders decided Wednesday to keep studying the path of the proposed Red Line train.

Transportation leaders originally hoped the Red Line could use the Norfolk-Southern line that runs through Lake Norman. Since Norfolk-Southern has said that plan won't work, CATS is now looking for another place to build the line, which would run from uptown Charlotte through Huntersville, Cornelius, and Davidson.
