TULSA, Okla. — Police said a Tulsa, Oklahoma, liquor store was the scene of a violent shootout between a mother and daughter, who are both employees, and a robber.
Surveillance video shows a man armed with a shotgun enter the store and attempt to rob it before the mother and daughter pull out weapons of their own.
The mother, Tina Ring, is seen firing several shots at the robber.
"I saw the shotgun; I saw him and just started to shoot," Ring said.
Ring shot the man in the leg, but he wouldn’t give up.
“I was just pulling the trigger just trying to get him from getting the gun,” Ring said. “I kept pulling the trigger, pulling the trigger and pulling it.”
The man eventually wrestled the gun away and pistol-whipped her.
But when he went after her daughter, Ring said she fired a shot at point-blank range.
Ring and her daughter then ran to safety.
Police said they arrested the man and believe he's connected to at least 10 other robberies in the area.
