FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Vice President Kamala Harris visited Fayetteville for a campaign event on Thursday, joined by North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper.
Harris spoke to those in attendance to lay out why North Carolina voters should re-elect the Biden administration.

The vice president also visited Greensboro last week. This is her seventh trip to the state this year.
The joint appearance comes as national outlets like the New York Times list Cooper as an emerging favorite to be the vice presidential pick for Harris if President Joe Biden drops out of the race.
Cooper has said this is unneeded speculation.
