Veterans Park in Charlotte to get fitness court

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A park in east Charlotte is getting new exercise equipment thanks to the Carolina Panthers.

The Panthers, Lowe’s and Veterans Bridge home are teaming up to build a fitness court at Veterans Park on Central Avenue.

The county is planning a groundbreaking for the project next week.
