CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are looking for the person they said shot into several vehicles and a home early Friday morning, two days after officers responded to a similar shooting in the same northwest Charlotte neighborhood.
Officers were called around 6 a.m. to Oakshire Circle, off Valleydale Road, where they said someone sprayed four vehicles and a house with bullets.
Channel 9 could see dozens of officers at the scene speaking with potential witnesses and collecting evidence.

The crime scene was one street over from Jordans Pond Lane, where officers were called out on Wednesday morning after someone fired rounds into two homes, sending two people to the hospital.
Police have not said if the shootings are connected.

Nobody was hurt in Friday’s shooting, but Channel 9 spoke with a woman who had bullets come into her home. Tiffany Reid was inside with her 8-year-old daughter when two bullets hit their house.
“Actually, one of the people came up and said, ‘Do you see that big hole in your garage?’ Of course, that's when I realized and then I saw that one,” she said.
Police are working to find out who is behind the shootings but investigators said some of the victims who were shot have not been very cooperative.
