US men’s national soccer team to play in Charlotte for Gold Cup

CHARLOTTE — The U.S. Men’s National Team will play in Charlotte for the first time this summer during the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup.

The USMNT will take on Nicaragua at 7 p.m. on July 2 at Bank of America Stadium.

The game, which is part of a doubleheader, will be followed by a matchup between Honduras and Haiti at 9 p.m.

Charlotte has hosted Concacaf Gold Cup matches in 2011, 2015, and 2019 with a total attendance of 161,118 across the three match days.

Tickets to the doubleheader matches will go on pre-sale to Charlotte FC season ticket members on Wednesday. Pre-sale for Panthers PSL owners will begin on Thursday.

Tickets will be available to the public beginning Tuesday, April 25.
