CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Construction crews are usually busy at work in uptown Charlotte, but this weekend, the city will feel the impact of Hurricane Florence.

Dennis Kenna’s company, Heede, has 12 constructions cranes in operation across the city and a total of 30 throughout the Southeast.
He says the cranes are designed to withstand hurricane force winds but crews have been busy removing items such as banners and lighting.
