CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Vintage debuts in Charlotte’s South End on Friday.
That upscale cigar lounge and whiskey bar is located at 215 E. Worthington Street — formerly Iron Tribe Fitness. The Menagerie Hospitality Group, spearheaded by local tech entrepreneur Dan Weiss, is behind that venture.

Weiss sees the 3,400-square foot establishment as place where the business community can court clients, or cigar novices and aficionados can stop and just savor the moment.
“I noticed a gap in the local marketplace that could be filled, which also aligned with passions of mine — discovering cigars and beverages that create lasting memories in the eyes of the consumer,” he says.
