Union County Sheriff's Office welcomes new bloodhound puppy ‘Justice'

UNION COUNTY, N.C. — The Union County Sheriff’s Office held a contest to name its new bloodhound puppy.

Officials asked people to vote for the best name and here were the results:

  • Justice: 220
  • Copper: 185
  • Opie: 61
  • Rusty: 40
  • Shadow: 35
  • J.T.: 30
  • Flash: 25
  • Milo: 15
  • Makita: 6
  • Prince: 2

The new member of the K9 family was officially named Justice.
