COVID-19 interrupted graduation ceremonies for thousands of graduates in the Class of 2020 at UNC Charlotte.

Some people from that class are still hoping the school can host an in-person ceremony.
“It was something I was looking forward to and I didn’t get to have that experience,” said Katie Walsh, former UNC Charlotte student.
The student body government sent a proposal to the university asking administrators to allow 2020 graduates to have an in-person ceremony.
