RALEIGH, N.C. — (AP) — Another cluster of positive COVID-19 cases within student housing has been reported at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Sunday’s disclosure of cases within the Hinton James dormitory building marks the fourth such cluster since the semester began Aug. 10 at the state’s flagship public university campus.
The school announced on Saturday that fraternity members living in off-campus student housing tested positive for the virus. It confirmed at least five cases at the Sigma Nu fraternity house.

The university also said it identified two other clusters of the coronavirus on campus in its first week of fall classes. The university declined to release names of students but said the positive cases emerged in Ehringhaus Community and Granville Towers.
Those testing positive are being isolated and receiving medical monitoring.
The Orange County Health Department is working with UNC to find more possible exposures to the virus. Contact tracing is happening in response to all four clusters.
A faculty committee is supposed to meet Monday to discuss the coronavirus clusters.
Students experiencing symptoms, such as fever and shortness of breath, are encouraged to call the school health department or their health care provider.
