CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two men were arrested after a shootout Tuesday night in south Charlotte.
Police responded to reports of a shooting just after 11 p.m. near the intersection of Nations Ford Road and Huntsmoor Drive.

Police said when they got there, they spotted Horace McCorey, 33, and two others speeding off in a car riddled with bullets and Christopher Brinkley, 28, running away from the scene.
After stopping the men, officers said McCorey and Brinkley started shooting at each other after getting into a fight. No one was hurt.
McCorey was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Brinkley is facing multiple charges including three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
