CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The popular Asheville-based concept has snagged a roughly 4,800-square-foot restaurant in the Bank of America Plaza at 101 S. Tryon St. A soft opening — by reservation only — starts with dinner service on Saturday. Regular hours, including brunch, lunch and dinner service, roll out on Monday.
“We think it’s going to be a great addition to the food scene on the street,” says Stephen Frabitore, CEO and owner of Tupelo Honey. “I think this is a new and exciting space and uptown is going to give us an elevated level of service.”
Frabitore told the Charlotte Business Journal on Tuesday that has invested millions of dollars to open that uptown restaurant — though he declined to share specifics.
