Dallas-based retail chain Tuesday Morning is going out of business and closing all of its stores, including its remaining locations in the Charlotte region.

The discount retailer announced on its website it is hosting a going-out-of-business sale as it prepares to close all of its stores. Tuesday Morning will close three more stores in the Charlotte area: at Promenade on Providence, 10828 Providence Road in south Charlotte; Huntersville Square, 14212 Statesville Road in Huntersville; and The Commons at Winthrop, 725 Cherry Road in Rock Hill.

The announcement comes more than a month after Tuesday Morning Corp. obtained $12.5 million in debtor-in-possession financing in hopes of operating through its bankruptcy process, according to the Dallas Business Journal, a CBJ sister paper.
