The branches were located at 9836 Rea Road, 1710 Sardis Road North and 8011 Mallard Creek Road. Charlotte-based Truist said it will serve retail customers at nearby locations. Another branch closed in Marshville in Union County, a spokesperson confirmed.
Employees at the branches are being transferred to other locations.
“Our branches will always be an important bridge for us to build relationships, meet our clients’ needs and contribute to our communities. Like many industries, we’re seeing our client preferences and behaviors change as more and more clients choose to bank with us digitally,” Truist said in a statement.
