Truist Bank sued by USAA over mobile deposit technology

CHARLOTTE — USAA is suing Truist Bank over remote check deposits for banks.

The lawsuit, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division, accuses Truist Bank, a subsidiary of Charlotte-based Truist Financial Corp., of using the technology “without permission and to use them for its own commercial gain.”
