CHARLOTTE — Truist Financial Corp. is shuttering several more branches in the Charlotte market, according to filings with the North Carolina Commissioner of Banks.
The consolidation is part of a post-merger integration reaching the final stages.
Charlotte-based Truist confirmed the closures and said they would take effect in March.
The branches are:
- 2211 W. Arbors Drive, Charlotte
- 700 W. King St., Kings Mountain
- 507 W. Innes St., Salisbury
- 21 Main Avenue Drive, Taylorsville
- 1908 Old Charlotte Hwy., Monroe
- 118 N. Main St., Belmont
“With so many heritage BB&T and SunTrust branches in close proximity to one another, there are natural opportunities to reduce redundant branches with very little impact to our clients,” the company said in a statement to the Charlotte Business Journal.
These branch closures are in addition to 10 others set to take effect in mid-February. The bank is also relocating its uptown branch.
