CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Emergency crews had to close a busy stretch of North Tryon Street early Thursday morning after a large truck became stuck beneath a railroad bridge.

The truck was wedged under the bridge near 16th Street around 6:30 a.m. and authorities had to close all lanes in both directions while crews worked to remove the truck.
