YORK COUNTY, S.C. — South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a deadly crash involving a tractor-trailer in York County Friday night.
The crash happened around 8 p.m. on South Carolina Highway 49, near Davis Farm Road.
Troopers said the tractor-trailer was driving north when a Toyota Camry crossed the center line and was hit head-on.
Authorities said the driver of the Camry, who has not been identified, was not wearing a seat-belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The tractor-trailer driver was wearing a seat-beat at the time of the crash and was not injured.
No other information has been released.
