CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly motorcycle accident in Chesterfield County.
The accident happened on Saturday around 7 p.m. on South Carolina Highway 109 and Wildwood Road, near Mount Croghan.
Troopers said a motorcyclist on a 2002 Suzuki motorcycle was riding south on Highway 109 and ran off the right side of the road, hitting a ditch.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
