CHARLOTTE — A massive tree fell near a busy intersection in southeast Charlotte after severe weather moved through the area over the weekend.

Authorities reported fallen power lines were blocking inbound lanes on Monroe Road, near Briar Creek Road, on Monday.
Fortunately, there are no reports of any injuries.
