CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A tortilla chip maker is planning a startup operation in downtown Norwood’s largest building that will bring 12 jobs to the Stanly County community.
CYES Factory will make the chips and other food products in the 4,400-square-foot structure, spending $400,000 to begin operations.
Tedros Kedede, president of CYES Factory, says he hopes his project will bring Norwood’s central business district back to life.
