CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Four people were seriously injured and a northwest Charlotte road was closed following a two-car crash Saturday afternoon, officials said.
The crash happened around 3 p.m. in the 5000 block of Freedom Drive.

Paramedics said two of the victims have life-threatening injuries and two more have potentially life-threatening injuries.
Police shut down the road for hours.
