DURHAM, NC — Police say three people found unresponsive in a Durham pool are dead.
WTVD-TV reports it happened around 3 a.m. Tuesday at an apartment complex on the west side of the city not far from the Duke University campus.
Officials said CPR was attempted after two males and a female were pulled out of the water following a report of a drowning, but they could not be saved.
The dead have not been identified. Just how it happened is under investigation.
