JACKSONVILLE, N.C. — Three children were hurt after a rabid feral attacked them outside of a North Carolina bowling alley, WCTI reported.
One of the victim’s father, Kaleb Duncan said his 4-year-old son, Aaron Duncan, had just opened their car door when the cat attacked him at Bowlarena in Jacksonville.

Kaleb said the cat ripped through his son’s shorts, scratching his leg before he could kick the cat off.
“I told Aaron don’t touch it. Don’t do anything to it,” said Kaleb. “At about that time, we were at the back of the truck and the cat jumped onto his leg.”
Aaron has been released from the hospital and is recovering.
After the cat later died, its remains were sent off for testing and the cat tested positive for rabies, according to the Onslow County Health Department.
The other two victims were bowling alley employee, Denni Wells' daughter and their friend.
The owner of the bowling alley said his staff does not feed the feral cats and wants them all gone so no one else gets hurt.
