CHARLOTTE — A mobile coffee shop that hit the road in Charlotte about three years ago is rated the best food truck in town right now.
That’s according to CBJ’s own research feature, The List, which has a fresh ranking out today of the top-rated eateries in wheels the region has to offer.
Detour Coffeebar has taken the No. 1 spot on the latest installment of The List, which ranks food trucks based on the establishment’s rating and number of reviews on Yelp. Detour has a 5.0 rating based on 22 reviews.
The venture, established in 2019 by a former bookstore barista, serves up locally roasted coffee and espresso and other hand-crafted drinks, according to its website.
