CHARLOTTE — A third suspect has been identified more than a year after a deadly mass shooting at an Uptown Charlotte nightclub.
Court documents show 18-year-old Tevin Stevenson is charged with first degree murder in connection with a July 2025 shooting at the Encore nightclub.
He is accused of killing Arleigh Bryant. It was his 37th birthday. Five other people were also hurt in the shooting.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said Stevenson was initially arrested on July 17, 2025, but remained unidentified due to his age. Two other men, Damien Evans II and Shawn Cannon, were also arrested not long after the crime.
Stevenson is being held in the Mecklenburg County Jail without bond. He’s due in court in September.
