ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police say another person has been arrested and charged in connection with a deadly shooting that happened earlier this month at a block party in Rock Hill.
The Rock Hill Police Department announced on Friday that Tyquarious Queoveon Davis was charged with accessory before the face of murder, and he was arrested in Lancaster.
Montest Mincey, 44, was killed in the shooting, which happened on June 1 on Southland Drive.
Two other suspects had been arrested in connection with Mincey’s death. D’markieoun Ji’shae Clyburn was charged with murder, and Quantrel Jaheim Barrino was charged with accessory before the fact of murder. Bond was denied for both of them earlier this week, Channel 9 previously reported.

Police have released few details on the shooting, but neighbors told Channel 9 that Mincey was acting as a peacemaker at the party when she was killed.
RHPD didn’t say how Davis was allegedly involved in the shooting.
Getting to the right path
C.T. Kirk is a pastor at the Sanctuary Life Outreach Center in Rock Hill, and he’s also a teacher at a Lancaster middle school. He said he knew Clyburn when he was a student.
“It’s always sad when it’s a kid that you watched as a little kid play and laugh and you always start to think was there anything I could have done more to sway that decision in the future?” Kirk told Channel 9′s Tina Terry on Friday.
Police say Clyburn is the one who pulled the trigger that killed Mincey. Maricus Kirk, who isn’t related to C.T., was also shot and is recovering.
“A lot of times, our young people are not living in the future, they’re living in the right now,” Kirk told Terry.
This shooting has motivated the pastor to change that. Next month, he’s hosting a special event with the goal of reaching young people before they can turn to crime.
“We’re targeting middle and high school kids to be able to come in and have almost like a school setting where they learn labor, budgeting, STEM programs to help them be efficient in math and science,” Kirk said.
He believes education, mentorship, and the love of Christ can set young people on the right path.
“If you can just come in and experience the message of Christ, it will change your life, ‘cause it changed mine,” Kirk said.
Kirk says the leadership camp will take place from July 8-12 at the Sanctuary of Life Outreach Center, 1071 Finley Road in Rock Hill. Dropoff begins at 8:30 a.m., and breakfast and lunch are included. It’s open to rising 6th graders through 12th graders.
